What is dance marathon?
Dance Marathon is a nation wide movement that raises funds for Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. Miracle Network Dance Marathon has raised more than $250 million for kids across North America. Here at Emmanuel, we support our little neighbors down the street at Boston Children’s Hospital.
Do I have to be able to dance?
As we like to say, bad dancing saves lives! You don’t have to be able to dance in order to attend as we have so much more planned including color team competitions, Headphone Disco and more! We want everyone to have an amazing time no matter what!
What does my donation go towards?
Our fundraising goes towards the Every Child Fund at Boston Children’s Hospital. This fund goes towards things in the hospital such as salaries for Child Life Specialists, meal vouchers for families, helium tanks for birthday parties, preemie diapers and so much more.
Do I have to be able to stay the whole time?
We strongly encourage participants to stay the whole time but we understand if you can’t! Our doors open and close are specific times if you need to grab a change of clothes, take a quick nap, and then come back to party that is ECDM!
Wait… isn’t dance marathon just one day a year?
Dance Marathon is on one day, but we fundraise all throughout the year! Fundraising the whole year allows us to give as much as we can to the kids at BCH!
